Job Description: The Product Manager - Retail Colocation is responsible for the management of the product life cycle and financial impact of Data Center Services Portfolio at the Product and Services level. This scope encompasses the standard space and power offering (colocation) alongside its ancillary offerings (ex. remote hands, physical security, office, etc.). This individual will both help define the long-term strategy of these products and services alongside focusing on the day-to-day tactics to drive profitability. Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Manage the product lifecycle - influence product vision, strategy, and roadmap, define product requirements and pricing, manage launch, optimize performance, and recommend end-of-life strategies. Proactively identify opportunities to improve product performance and the customer experience - features, pricing - understanding the financial and competitive impact - provide recommendations for improvement, and lead cross functional programs to drive results Influence target KPIs, define achievement strategy, and operationalize the plans Ensure product features and available inventory meets retail market requirements as defined by competitive analysis, interaction with customers and prospects, third party analysis, and your own expertise. Collaborate with Finance to gain in depth knowledge of product performance Support sales and sales operations through sales enablement activities - training, customer calls, day to day questions Working with marketing, position Flexential's suite of services in a clear and differentiated manner. Work with the development, operations, and service delivery organizations to deliver timely product enhancements and/or cost reductions. Serve as the company's subject matter expert on Data Center Services. Drives product-oriented business cases and conducts analysis for strategic reviews Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, mathematics, science or equivalent experience. A Master's degree / MBA is a plus. 5 years experience in an analytical/strategic role with P&L experience is desirable Aptitude to grasp technical concepts quickly and accurately to drive business decisions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Expert Excel skills is a plus.
