Job Description:
A company is looking for a Licensed Utilization Management Nurse
Consultant.
Key Responsibilities:
Review services to assure medical necessity, apply clinical
expertise, and facilitate safe discharge planning
Coordinate, document, and communicate all aspects of the
utilization/benefit management program
Utilize clinical experience and skills to assess, plan, implement,
monitor, and evaluate healthcare services for members
Required Qualifications:
Current active and unrestricted RN state licensure
2+ years of clinical experience as an RN
1+ years' experience in Utilization Review and Managed Care
Strong telephonic communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
