this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are

$333,900.00Job DescriptionAs Senior Director AI Product Management
for WGU Ed Tech, you will lead a talented product management team,
and cross-functional teams to develop, manage and measure new AI
products and features and build experiences that delight users.
This is a highly visible and critical role that will drive WGU's
student AI strategy, including the technology required to support
our AI-enabled future state and broader university technology
needs.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Drives the AI product vision, product roadmap and execution
excellence in product development across all tech platforms to
support the application products across the student lifecycle
domains.
- Champions the end users and drives product innovation.
- Accountable for monitoring top line business performance
relative to product use.
- Defines, prioritizes, and achieves key targets in AI systems
use, performance, engagement, and key results.
- Recruits, leads, motivates, and inspires a team of AI product
managers.
- Represents a portfolio of AI products at the top level of the
organization.
- Partners with the application product and UX/UI teams in
leveraging design thinking, systems thinking and agile best
practices as part of the AI product life cycle.
- Translates AI portfolio vision into a 12-18-month strategic
portfolio roadmap mapped to outcomes and value creation.
- Identifies product portfolio level KPIs (Key Performance
Indicators) coaching team to adjust and refine products the data
dictates.
- Proactively partners with Technology and senior business
leaders to define end-state architecture that enables product
portfolio and ensure products are secure, resilient, performant,
and scalable that solve material student and business
problems.
- Leads an AI product team of product management and operations
directors, senior product managers, product managers and UX/UI
professionals with the potential to scale the team further.
Nurtures, develops, and coaches AI product leaders identifying
opportunities for growth and achieve measurable goals. Knowledge,

- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
- 9+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing product
managers (individual contributors and people managers) with proven
record of successfully developing and launching products.
- Experience in developing AI-enabled products and launching them
into the market
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to inform
design decisions and drive change.
- Experience working with both technical and business
stakeholders (Marketing, Operations, Data, etc.).
- Familiar with organizational maturity and related
transformation.
- Demonstrated experience influencing senior management and
setting expectations for major cross-functional initiatives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Preferred
Qualifications:
- MBA or Masters in related field.
- Design Thinking, Agile, Product Certifications.Position &

regular and working 40 standard weekly hours): This is a full-time,
regular position (classified for 40 standard weekly hours) that is
