Job Description:
Implements enterprise solutions in a J2EE environment using
Agile methodology. Builds scalable and high throughput RESTful
APIs. Implements and supports authentication and identification
management applications. Uses business knowledge to translate the
vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by
developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting
studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project
development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to
development experts and management. Primary Responsibilities: Participates in architecture design teams. Defines and implements application level architecture. Develops applications on complex projects, components, and
subsystems for the division. Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and
reviews and validates test plans. Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
or subsystems. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects
across multiple platforms. Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget. Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for
projects. Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for
multiple projects. Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various
project/technology issues. Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical
evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Mentors junior team members. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional
initiatives. Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
developing enterprise financial services applications in
distributed environments. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience developing enterprise financial
services applications in distributed environments. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) participating and implementing all
aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) --
participating in architecture and business discussions, and
delivering innovative solutions from release-to-release and
sprint-to-sprint according to financial services standards,
security requirements, software development best practices, and
Agile methodologies -- using enterprise identity and authentication
platforms, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
guidelines, vendor products (RSA Adaptive Authentication and IBM
Threat Metrix), and PING Identity Data Store. DE architecting and developing Risk Based Framework (RBF),
critical, and High Availability (HA) enterprise applications, using
J2EE, microservices architecture, Restful API, and Cloud
infrastructure; and building business aspects, using Spring,
Tomcat, Dropwizard, ORM frameworks (Hibernate), NodeJS, WebSphere,
Oracle, DB2, APIGEE gateway, and AWS ecosystem. DE implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) to provide enterprise
security solutions throughout the Secure SDLC according to SAML2
and OIDC standards, using certificates, hashing, and
encryption. DE configuring continuous build and integration flows within
Windows and UNIX environments -- Solaris and Linux -- using Git,
Jenkins, Sonar, Veracode, Maven, Kubernetes, IBM uDeploy, Rancher,
and Nexus; and Shell scripting automated application deployment
