General Responsibilities:

-Responsible for compiling amounts owed to medical this particular medical facility.

-Reviews and maintains orders, invoices and records to ensure accuracy.

-Maintains all patient payment records.

-Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

-Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

-Works under immediate supervision.

Job Requirements:

-Requires high school diploma AND 2 years of experience as a Coder.

-Experience with Medical Terminology, ICD and CPT codes

-MUST have experience working in multiple setting healthcare facility

-Must have a certification or be willing to obtain a certification.
