Assisted Living Director / Director of Resident Care - The Ridge Foothill is searching for a hands-on LPN to oversee our resident care as our new Assisted Living Director! Ensure that all essential resident care data, including medications, are properly entered and updated in our resident care database.Oversee Assisted Living care staff to ensure appropriate services have been provided and all appropriate documentation has been completed.Within the scope of practice, intervene when a resident is experiencing a change of condition and notify all appropriate parties.Assist with the education and training of Department Staff.Qualifications of the Assisted Living Director / Director of Resident Care / Licensed Practical Nurse:Possession of a valid LPN license.Prefer one year of experience providing residential care to the elderly or similar experience. Prefer one year of supervisory experience in a health-care related field.Ability to understand and conceptualize concepts as well as an ability to make decisions in stressful situations.High level of initiative and self-motivation with an emphasis on establishing and understanding processes with a strong attention to details.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with seniors, their family members and staff in a caring, compassionate manner.Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.To reduce risk to our residents and team members, we require all employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and any required boosters.
