Role and How You WILL Make a Difference The Child/Adolescent
Psychiatrist diagnoses behavioral health and substance use
disorders and other medical conditions and provides evidence-based
treatments for those disorders. The Psychiatrist delivers services
in a professional manner in accordance with laws, rules,
regulations, professional society recommendations and standards,
and Valley policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities include: -
- Diagnoses medical disorders including behavioral health and
substance use disorders in accordance with existing Current
Procedural Technology (CPT) definitions
- Prescribes evidence-based treatments for diagnosed
disorders
- Accurately bills for rendered services in a timely manner in
accordance with existing billing laws and rules, coding for
- Evaluation and Management (E/M) services, payor requirements,
and Valley policies and procedures
- Documents non-billable but important clinical events in the
electronic medical record in a timely manner that demonstrates an
awareness and coordination of patient needs with the clinical
treatment team at large
- Translates technical language to patients, families, treatment
team members, and community partners to words that are appropriate
for the listener to understand what is being communicated
- Provides professional leadership, mentoring, and general
guidance for other treatment team members
- Meets required productivity and other organizational
performance expectations
- Maintains required company training. Who We'd Love to Join Our

passionate about helping underserved populations, detail-oriented
and organized, and willing to innovate when needed. Additionally:
- Medical Degree (MD/DO)
- Board Certified/Board Eligible for Child/Adolescent
Psychiatry
- Graduation from Valley Academy (We provide training) What We
