Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 12-week assignment starting 9/29 • Day shifts available • Patient ratios: 1:2 (1:3 for PCU boarders, 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity cases including IABP, CRRT, open hearts) • 24-bed ICU unit with 46 staff members • Scheduling options: straight nights or 50/50 schedule • Weekend requirement: 3 weekend shifts within a 4-week period • Documentation system: EPIC • Floating policy: PCU or as a sitter anywhere in hospital inpatient • Minimum 2 years ICU experience required (will consider 1 year strong experience) • Must have experience with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, arterial lines, and other ICU skills • Typical procedures: rapid sequence intubations, central line placements, bronchoscopy, intubation, arterial line placement, chest tube placement • Required certification: ACLS • Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs • Ideal candidate is outgoing and a team player • Unit support: 1 CCT/US during day shift if more than 10 patients Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive 24-bed intensive care unit staffed by 46 healthcare professionals.
