Behavioral Health Program Director The Peoples Health Clinic, Park
City, Utah Overview: The Peoples Health Clinic (PHC) is a nonprofit
clinic providing free, high-quality healthcare to uninsured
individuals and families in Summit and Wasatch Counties. We are
seeking a compassionate, organized, and team-oriented Behavioral
Health Counselor to provide culturally responsive behavioral health
care, with a focus on reducing barriers and improving well-being
among underserved community members. Key Responsibilities Complete
scheduling and intake with new therapy patients, including required
paperwork, supportive agreements, and standardized screening tools.
Maintain accurate and timely chart documentation and schedule
follow-up appointments as appropriate to support continuity of care
and meet patient needs. Conduct in-person psychotherapy sessions
and other direct client worksuch as intakes, group therapy
sessions, and crisis interventionfor a total of 30 patient-facing
hours per week, using a trauma-informed and person-centered
approach. You will be required to work one evening per week to help
accommodate patient schedules. Participate in clinical case
consultations as needed. Complete clinical supervision hours as
required by licensure, and maintain licensure in good standing with
all applicable state requirements. Attend clinic meetings,
nonprofit partner gatherings, and community events as needed to
support collaboration and outreach. Represent PHCs mission and
values in all interactions with patients, staff, volunteers, and
partner organizations. Uphold HIPAA and all confidentiality
standards, with special attention to the sensitivities of working
with underserved and immigrant populations. Demonstrate cultural
humility and engage in advocacy efforts to support equitable access
to behavioral health care. Maintain a collaborative, respectful,
and professional environment, contributing to a culture of
excellence, leadership, and continuous improvement. Qualifications
Masters degree or higher in Behavioral Health or a related field,
with current Utah licensure in good standing (e.g., LCSW, CMHC,
LMFT, or equivalent) that permits the provision of independent
psychotherapy. Candidates must meet all state requirements for
clinical practice and be eligible to deliver mental health services
within their scope of licensure. Must be fluent in Spanish and able
to provide therapy and documentation in both English and Spanish.
Experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a
community clinic or nonprofit setting. Preference for
certifications in trauma-focused psychotherapies such as EMDR,
Accelerated Resolution Therapy Proficiency in using an Electronic
Medical Record (EMR) system. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills. Strong organizational skills, with the
ability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate
documentation. Commitment to professional boundaries, self-care,
and ethical practice. Ability to work both independently and
collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
