The Lead Cook supervises food preparation, production and quality while performing a variety of kitchen management functions, including ordering, delegating tasks to prep cooks, and ensuring safety and sanitation protocols are being followed Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Supervise and assist with setting up and stocking work areas with all necessary food, supplies and equipment Provides day-to-day work direction to team members to ensure production of quality food- Directs and assigns tasks to entry/prep cooks as provided by the Chef:- Ensures menu items completed by specific time - Supervises and assists with the proper plating of all meals.- Ensures that foods are maintained at proper temperatures for serving.- Monitors all foods for quality of taste, texture and appearance. Organizes so that on days off prep cooks can complete tasks

  • Have product they need; complete recipes with consistency and high quality Enforcing Brand Standards, policies, procedures and station sanitation standards Ensure that established health and safety procedures are followed.Job Requirements:
    • High School education or equivalent; and/or training in a culinary arts school
    • 2-4 years of professional cooking experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired
    • Broad base of professional cooking knowledge and skills, including restaurant kitchen operations; previous supervisory experience preferred but not required
    • Good administrative, math and supervisory skills.
