Job DescriptionJob Title: Bistro & Kitchen SupervisorPay: $17-18/ Hour, Part TimeSchedule: Tuesday through Sundays: 10:30am - 3:30pm (Bistro open 11:00am - 3:00pm)

Additional time for prep 2x mornings in the week: 9:00am - 10:30am Additional hours as needed to support events and programs at The Leonardo.Department: BistroReports to: - Bistro Manager -The Leonardo is looking for a Bistro & Kitchen Supervisor to join our team and mission. This person will have a knowledge of menu planning and costing; an understanding of food and health regulations and best practices and be a go-to problem solver.The ideal candidate has a strong background in a fast-paced environments, able to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, follow through on issues in a timely manner, and work well under pressure.Benefits of working at The Leonardo

Work directly with customers and supervise Bistro staff as applicable.Work on menu and daily specials to create a unique dining experience.Ensure that labor is regulated and maintained according to sales in the bistro and cost of goods. -Ensure that the areas under your control are well presented and adhere to health and sanitation regulations and best practices.Maintain inventory control. Ensure that monthly stock checks are performed and identify any irregularities.Other duties as neededRequirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, with specialized training in culinary arts preferred.Prior kitchen and server experience required, preferably supervising a bistro, kitchen, or licensed bar.Able to stand for extended periods of time; able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift 50-100 pounds, and rarely lift over 100 pounds.About The LeonardoWe created The Leonardo to honor and embody the spirit of this Renaissance Man.
