The Senior Human Resource Business Partner supports team members
and business leaders through people strategies and programs that
enable the achievement of Snaps business objectives. The HRBP is
instrumental in supporting organizational change and implementing
people talent decisions while proactively partnering with our HR
Center of Expertise to support organizational development,
succession planning, and people planning for designated client
groups. The HRBP engages with leaders to execute people strategies
while providing advice in all areas of talent management,
organizational effectiveness, and organizational change. Acting as
a trusted advisor and thought partner, the HRBP builds credibility
to effectively influence leaders and support team members.
The Job....
- Thoroughly understand the business needs and priorities,
translating them into an executable human resources strategy that
will contribute to organizational success will own, for their
covered business units a full range of HR services to include
management and execution of (in partnership with HR COEs and
business leaders); performance management, change management,
talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations,
employee engagement and other HR product delivered a Snap
Finance
- Provide coaching to managers to enhance leadership abilities,
relationships among teams/individuals, interpersonal
communications, and performance management.
- Execute and support integrated talent management programs that
directly tie to the business strategy and build alignment with
departments and business leaders.
- Earn trust by delivering results, influencing, and a
collaborative approach
- Consult, guide and influence talent decisions and deliver
people solutions; through strong understanding of the business and
strong People & Culture partnerships
- Understand the business by effectively translating business
priorities; influencing through people solutions by collaborating
with the HR COE team
- Facilitate organizational development initiatives to drive
overall effectiveness, improve team effectiveness, and role
clarity, and support Snaps culture
- Work closely with teams to improve engagement, build morale,
instill trust; and increase productivity and retention
- Collaborate with business leaders to resolve complex people
relations issues, including conducting effective workplace
investigations. Use sound judgment and appropriate conflict
management skills when dealing with difficult and challenging
people matters
- Provide guidance in performance management & support to leaders
in coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution
(i.e. PIPs) team members
- Promote a culture of success, pride, performance, discipline,
and creativity. Be an effective spokesperson and champion for HR
value and Snap finance in the industry and local communities across
the country. Work closely and engage with leaders to establish an
environment that is motivating and entrepreneurial in nature.
You....
- Experience working with and supporting Technology and Product
Management teams for a minimum of 5 years is required
- 12+ years of progressive human resources experience
- 6+ years HR Business Partner experience preferred; the ideal
candidate will have also had experience in a specialty function
area of human resources (e.g. leadership development, performance
management, talent planning, compensation etc.)
- Foundational understanding of:
- compensation theory and application
- recruiting systems and best practices
- Employment law
- Organizational Development theory and application
- Motivation theory and application principles
- Change Management theory and application principles
- Understanding of HRIS applications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field and SHRM certification
preferred
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to quickly
develop a solid understanding of how HR efforts should align with
Snap Finances business strategy.
- Proven track record in quickly gaining credibility and
partnering collaboratively with business leaders.
- Ability to quickly analyze drivers of business segment employee
population engagement drivers and develop holistic HR programs to
maximize employee engagement.
- A combination of both strategic thinking and thought leadership
as well as the willingness and ability to roll up their sleeves to
execute programs flawlessly.
- Understanding & practical experience leveraging change
management tenets and effective change communication
strategies.
- Strong organizational agility, with a high level of comfort in
dealing with employees at all levels
- Strong consultative, impact and influence skills
- Proven ability to establish team trust and foster an inclusive
culture
- Excellent negotiation, group facilitation, written and verbal
communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to handle
multiple responsibilities in a fast paced environment are
essential.
