The selected candidate will be the primary interface for engineering and manufacturing staffing demand, operations, and fulfillment. These positions are remote eligible but Roy UT, Huntsville AL, Colorado Springs CO, or Bellevue NB Northrop Grumman locations are preferred.What You'll Get To Do:Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:Responsible for assessing directorate staffing needs, current as well as projected and working with the respective team leads to address those needs.Responsible for supporting recruitment activities including the creation of requisitions, conducting interviews, and approving offers.Collaborate with HR and TA COE resources on metric generation and reporting.Supporting staffing events inclusive of travel to off-site staffing geographies.Coordination and support of intern planning and fulfillment.Be a key partner in targeted staffing initiatives aligned to organizational goals and objectives.Provide their group with regular flow down of company and organizational status and appropriately represent and be a spokesperson for the organization to their group, assigned project, and the company.Foster a working environment which reinforces and drives accountability to fundamental Northrop Grumman Values focused on integrity, quality, shared success, and innovation.Partner with engineering and program management peers to assure a balanced and efficient assignment of resources to support and achieve key mission prioritiesCoach, support, train, and motivate team members to ensure a high level of performanceThis position aligns to a Matrixed Engineering and Manufacturing Operations organization (SDS E&MO Homeroom)Position Benefits:As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsThis position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Job Qualifications:You'll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a related discipline and 4 years of relevant experience or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degreeMust be a US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.1+ years' experience leading a project and/or driving performance against scheduleThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:3+ years leading a team, including mentoring and coachingExperience with individual contributor performance assessmentsExcellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsStrong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues and predict potential programmatic and technical risksOperates independently with limited to no supervision, and the ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customersAble to assimilate information from multiple sources, create coherent plans and then execute those plans#GBSDLeadershipThis position reports to Roy, UT, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 3 locations listed above.Salary Range: $122,300 USD - $183,500 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
