JOB SUMMARY:Our Nationwide Financial client in Irvine, CA is
looking for a contract-to-hire Sr. HCM Oracle Reporting Analyst
(HRIS) to join their team. The Sr. HRIS Oracle Reporting Analyst
supporting the Oracle HRIS Application is responsible for report
creation, development, and customization within the company's
Oracle HCM system. Serves as subject matter expert in Human
Resources HRIS system (Oracle) and develop reporting solutions to
identify business efficiencies and improvement opportunities using
Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI). Partner with key
stakeholders to create reports, scorecards, and dashboards to
visualize business performance and trends that help drive insights
for the organization. Work with HR leadership to identify
opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business
solutions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE: - 3 to 4 strong level of
expertise in Oracle HCM system with and emphasis in and strong
proficiency in Oracle OTBI, BI Publisher, SQL, and other Oracle
reporting tools. - 2+ years Oracle Reporting experience using OTBI
required. - Previous experience developing reports and dashboards
in Oracle required. - Experience in Oracle HCM reporting in HR,
Compensation, Benefits, Payroll and Time Management strongly
preferred. - 5+ more years' experience with database management
systems (SQL). - BSA experience, training and/or certification
desired. - Knowledge of Business Objects. - Strong knowledge of Web
Services, XML and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). -
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL syntax, expressions and
scripting. - Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and
technical skills. - Ability to understand complex problems and to
collaborate and explore alternative solutions. - Ability to make
decisions that may have a moderate or significant impact on the
credibility, operations, and services in the Human Resources
Division or other functional groups throughout the organization and
monitor this impact. - Knowledge of change management and
Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) methodologies. - Understanding of non-public
personal information (NPPI) and data privacy legislation and
standards such as GLBA, OFAC, MISMO, et al. - Ability to accurately
communicate with individuals in person, by phone, email and other
written methods - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience in
business intelligence, reports development, data analysis, data
integration and/or data science.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Create a variety of highly
complex reporting solutions such as operational reports,
scorecards, or dashboards to visualize business unit performance
and trends; report and summarize data in the form of graphs,
charts, tables, PowerPoint, etc. Delivery of reports will be in
excel and/or other formats including reports an executive-ready
format. - Facilitate meetings with HR and other business leaders to
capture requirements, determine reporting goals, and understand the
business issue to be solved; design, develop, and build reports
that share insights and provide answers to the business issues
identified. - Work closely with management, end-users and IT in the
analysis of business requirements to deliver effective business
intelligence reporting solutions. - Create operational and ad-hoc
reports and data extracts to support business processes. - Perform
data validation and analysis of all report data to ensure accuracy.
- Utilize various tools such as Oracle HCM, Web Services, SQL,
Excel and other Microsoft tools for data analysis, transport and
reporting as well as proprietary reporting tools integrated in HR
systems and related business applications. - Create and maintain
documentation of processes, reports, applications, and procedures.
Develop and maintain scheduled and ad hoc reports. - Design
reporting solutions to generate electronic interface files. - Apply
data governance principles in ensuring data quality, integrity and
timeliness are maintained. - Ensure data integrity and solution
compliance with non-public personal information (NPPI) protection
and applicable laws and regulations. - Create, maintain, and update
executive reports and HR compliance reports. - Assists HRIS team
members as needed.
