seeking a Manager, Digital Manufacturing Systems that will work
with a dynamic team managing IT services in support of the Space
and Defense Systems sectors' MES Applications and manufacturing
digital transformation.The selected candidate will be responsible
for the day-to-day management of Costpoint MES and Solumina
application support and service delivery for the Manufacturing,
Design, Validation, and Product Data Management domains. The
statement of work (SOW) focuses on applications and systems for
internal use, including the design, architecture, deployment, and
support of digital manufacturing systems and the integration to
other systems and applications.The Manager of Information
Technology will establish and maintain effective internal and
external customer relationships to foster an in-depth understanding
of business requirements and will lead and develop transformational
strategies/concepts, implement change to create and drive programs
responsive to business requirements. This role will also
standardize delivery of engineering tools and common support
procedures/models, drive economies of scale and efficiencies in
terms of cost optimization and improve engineering productivity
(reduce licensing and training costs, faster onboarding to other
programs).This position requires collaboration and team building
across multiple domains and a demonstrated ability to independently
prioritize, plan, and execute work tasks in a rapidly changing,
fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality results. The
candidate will serve as the primary liaison between the Space
Systems IT Program Management Office (SP PMO) and business partner
organizations and will provide leadership to the technical teams
supporting manufacturing tools and MES Systems.The IT Manager
documents and delivers performance evaluations and accomplishes
merit increase planning. The successful candidate will provide
their staff with professional development recommendations,
mentoring, and discipline as necessary.Hybrid/remote options are a
consideration if they are in the vicinity of a major Northrop
Grumman NGIS work sites.Responsibilities include: Manage and
develop a team of IT professionals at varying levels in their
careers to successfully exceed the expectations of the clients and
to grow their careers within Northrop Grumman. Prepare and execute
the staffing plan to align with the user support requirements and
ensure that the 'day to day' support to the end user is delivered
efficiently and effectively by the Enterprise Services functional
homeroom. Effectively interact with other members of the IT
Solutions leadership team to optimize IT strategies in support of
business partner goals and objectives Provide leadership over
product, process, application, and technology supporting the
business partners to include strategy development, budget and cost
management, proposal development, product and service acquisition
and delivery, and communication activities thereby ensuring timely
and cost-effective delivery and customer satisfaction Coordinate
with project teams and resource managers to ensure that
requirements are managed, changes are documented, and systems are
developed, integrated, tested and deployed, as defined within the
business partner's requirements Resolves competing demands related
to project scope, schedule, cost, customer satisfaction, and
quality and ensures compliance with organizational processes and
procedures Apprises Northrop Grumman management of status, customer
satisfaction, and risks that might affect program performance, and
managing the human resources to ensure team successBasic
QualificationsBachelor's degree and 8 years of progressive IT
experience is required OR a master's degree and 5 years of
experience will also be accepted.3+ years of proven technical
leadership or project management experience in a team
environment.Must have experience managing, supervising, or leading
cross functional teams and/or individuals.The qualified candidate
must be customer-focused with proven leadership skills and
excellent communication skills.Experience with supporting
applications and users within a large enterprise.Must be able to
obtain a Secret Security clearanceMust have experience with
manufacturing tools management and MES system delivery and
supportPreferred QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a
Master's in a STEM related discipline, with 10 years of IT
Management experience, to include 4 years supporting Engineering
organizations.Experience in all aspects of project management
(leading projects, managing budgets, and administrating
schedules)Candidate must be entrepreneurial, self-starter and have
the ability to challenge the status quo.Active DoD Secret Security
Clearance is preferred.Salary Range: $116,200 USD $174,400
USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
