Job SummaryLocated in the state-of-the-art UETN Operations Center,
housed at the Eccles Broadcast Center on the University of Utah
campus, this is a service desk position that provides daily
technical support and assistance for the Utah Education and
Telehealth Network's Interactive Video Conferencing system. The
UETN-IVC system utilizes cutting edge distance learning
technologies, applications and platforms for statewide higher
education, and public education synchronous and a-synchronous,
interactive distance education programs.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems
operations. Determines user needs and requirements and recommends
ways to improve systems. Serves as primary point of contact between
users and engineering/development staff.
