Space Systems is seeking AVE Segment Lab Test Sr Principal Software
Engineer to join the Flight Systems Team (FST). This position is in
Roy, UT and supports the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD)
program.What You'll Get To Do:Scope of work for the Software
Engineer:Develop customer contractual needs and requirements into
test solutions that acknowledges technical schedule and cost
constraints.Develop and direct preparation and execution of
comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules.Review and
evaluate test requirements for completeness of test
program.Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts, Element Test teams,
System Test teams, and other stakeholders to identify test
objectives, test requirements, and risks that require test to
mitigateSupporting development of instrumentation requirements for
Hardware in the Loop testing.Identify test support requirements and
coordinate with Design & Integration team for budget and personnel
needsOverseeing test activities in support or requirement
verification and validation.Conduct daily briefing and approve test
start for each test event.Approve Break of Configuration on the
test floorConduct table top reviews and dry run test procedures
with test team prior to executionCoordinate and conduct Technical
and Safety Review Boards, and Test Readiness ReviewsSupport
customer Test Plan Working GroupsPrepare Test Planning Team
chartersCoordinate with Quality organization for test supportReview

Qualifications:You'll Bring These Qualifications:US Citizenship
with the ability to receive a Secret clearance and Special Access
Program (SAP) certification.Sr Principal Software Engineer should
have 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4
Years with PhDExcellent leadership, communications , and
interpersonal skills.Understanding of Model Based System
Engineering principles, working experience with
CAMEOKnowledge/experience with AF Test Directive 99-103Experience
with ICBMs (MM, PK, Small Missile) or DOD programsCoordinate
integrated testing activities with multiple test teams.Strong
understanding of entire product lifecycle, modeling and engineering
best practicesThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Knowledge
of system integration and test principles and processesKnowledge of
Systems Engineering principles, DOORS database, requirements
decomposition and allocationCollaborate with other IPTs to define
test objectives and test requirements for test activities in the
Hardware in the Loop Labs.Support to develop, plan, and execute
qualification and acceptance test plans, as well as supporting
design and test reporting and reviewsSupport developing and updated
the detailed integration test plan (ITP)Support the generation of
test procedures and test readiness reviews (TRRs)Creation of test
Concept of Operations (ConOps) flows that maximizes the utility of
test resources while meeting schedule and technical requirements
and/or constraintsGenerate and support test data decomposition and
test reports to other IPTs. Assist in consolidating and processing
of final test data for requirements verification/model validation
sign-off#GBSDSoftwareSalary Range: $112,000 USD - $168,000
USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
