Job Description:

We are looking for a Sr SQL Server DBA to join our growing team. This position will help maintain current database systems, troubleshoot issues, TSQL scripting, ensure database availability and data integrity, implement database changes, and manage security. This position will assist in the management of current ETL processes as well as developing new ones. They will work closely with developers and assist in product deployments.
Responsibilities

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  
  
• 
  Excellent written and oral communication skills
  
  
• 
  5+ years Setting up and implementing high availability solutions (AG groups and clustering)
  
  
• 
  Expert level knowledge of TSQL scripting
  
  
• 
  Create, Write, Trouble-shoot, and Deploy SSIS Packages
  
  
• 
  Troubleshooting database performance issues
  
  
• 
  SQL Server database monitoring best practices
  
  
• 
  SQL Server database optimization best practices
  
  
• 
  High level understanding of locks, wait types, extended events, and CDC
  
  
• 
  Database maintenance plans for Disaster Recovery planning and business continuity
  
  
• 
  Database Mirroring and transactional replication
  
  
• 
  SQL Server installation best practices
  
  
• 
  Participating in afterhours support and deployments on a rotational basis
  
  
• 
  SQL Server security administration and best practices
  
  
• 
  Expert knowledge on backups and restores
  
  
  Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    
    
  • 
    8+ years of SQL Server administration 2008+
    
    
  • 
    MySQL administration
    
    
  • 
    Designing ETL processes
    
    
  •
