**Job Family** **:** Software Development & Support (Digital) **Travel Required** **:** None **Clearance Required** **:** Ability to Obtain Public Trust **What You Will Do** **:** + Responsible for supporting the implementation of an enterprise application with external and internal interfaces. + In addition to the creation of custom software within an Agile & DevSecOps environment, the candidate should exhibit excellent problem solving and data analysis skills as well as a proven ability to work independently. + The candidate will focus on design, implementation and testing of the software built on a new technology stack using industry standard tools and design patterns. + Collaborate within an Agile development team + Work with the team and the product owner to understand product requirements + Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain software in conformance to standards and industry best practices + Design and develop Microservices + Develop and test Back-End enterprise Restful APIs + Create unit and integration tests + Perform peer code reviews + Translate requirements into functional service designs + Seek out and identify opportunities to align with and reuse enterprise technology services **What You Will Need** **:** + BA/ BS Degree. Degree can be substituted with 4 additional years of experience. + 6-8 years of development experience + Experience working with distributed, modular system architectures (i.e. Microservices, SOA) + Solid background and practical experience in requirement analysis, object-oriented methodologies and design patterns + Experience designing and implementing Restful APIs + Experience with Agile development methodologies and practices + Experience utilizing CI/CD tools + Experience with RDBMS Database design/development/Queries + Experience with ORMs - Strong analytical and communication skills + Experience with at least one Object Oriented Programming languate (Java, .Net, Python) + Must be a US Citizen and pass govt background investigation. + Strong written and oral communication skills + Exceptional customer service skills. + Strong time-management and prioritization skills. + Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others. + Ability to apply and provide feedback on service operation model and practices. **What Would Be Nice To Have:** + Development experience in GIS software including ArcGIS Enterprise + Experience with Spring, Spring boot - Experience using Restful API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) + Experience with source control tools (Bitbucket, Git, SVN) + Familiar with Containers (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes) + Familiar with JIRA and Confluence - Familiar with build systems (Maven, Bamboo, Gradle) + Experience with Cloud hosting/development & serverless technologies + Familiar with secure software development practices + Knowledge of 508 web accessibility standards. The annual salary range for this position is $109,400.00-$164,100.00.
