Stefanini is looking for Unix/Linux Administrator for Salt Lake City, UT Location.

Role will require 1 weekend every week.
Possible Schedules are Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday.
100% onsite role 5 days in office per week in Salt Lake City.
Description:

In your role as a Linux Administrator, you will be the Tier 1 / Tier 2 support of the Business systems in a 24x7 follow the sun model.
This will entail alert management, OS troubleshooting and working to restore service in a robust Enterprise Environment.
Monitoring of Linux/Unix systems
Troubleshooting of systems
Alert management
Incident Management
Working with clients across our Business Units to maintain and restore service
Automation of activities through scripting and configuration management
Working with Hardware teams to maintain the physical server estate
Documentation of processes and procedures for the team

Skills:

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Red Hat Linux Administration
Scripting experience in Shell, Bash, Perl and/or Python
Virtualization experience in VMware
Networking knowledge/skills
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-grade server hardware such as HP and Dell rackmount servers
Experience using remote management interfaces like Dell iDRAC, HP iLO, VMware vCenter/vSphere
An automation-first mindset
Incident management experience
Prior experience in the Financial Service Industry is a plus
Prior Enterprise experience is a plus
Relevant certifications are a strong plus


Education:

Basic Qualifications:

3-6 years of Unix/Linux systems administration experience
Strong core OS troubleshooting experience
Bachelor's Degree (U.S. or equivalent) in a Science or Engineering program or equivalent experience
