Sr. Software Engineer The Role
Fidelity EIPS-Voice and Interaction Team is looking for Senior Software Engineer interested in transforming support processes using DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering principles and best practices. This role is a coach to the wider EIPS-VOICE team leveraging in-depth skills working various teams, business partners building and supporting voice products on and off premises. The Expertise We're Looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Physics (or equivalent)
  
• Proven expertise in developing, and troubleshooting multi-tier internet facing web UI's and API's
  
• Strong skills with business process automation and batch applications
  
• Strong verbal communication skills
  
• Proficiency with Unix operating systems including Shell Scripting, Python, and Groovy
  
• Hands on experience with API development in Java
  
• Proven experience in modern SPA frameworks (ie. Angular, Vue)
  
• Experience developing, and maintaining Node JS, and/or Java/JEE based middle tier applications
  
• Exposure to event based and messaging platforms
  
• Experience in AWS platforms and tools, with certification being a plus
  
• Knowledgeable in test and process automation as well as CI/CD pipelines using technology such as Maven, Jenkins and Urbancode Deploy
  
• Knowledge of cloud and native infrastructure design for stable and standardized applications environments
  
• Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and cloud and native infrastructure designs
  
• Attention to SOC 1 compliance and extensive risk assessment abilities to prevent internal and external audit violations
  
• Knowledge of data management and query tools to develop data driven process automation on Oracle, Postgresql and SqlServer
  
• Ability to respond to systems issues and assist in finding and fixing them
  
• 24/7 availability for level-3 escalation during major incidents, and participation in 8am to 8pm production on-call rotation
  
• Ability to stay calm when resolving high-impact production incidents along with effective communication to senior leaders
