Summary/Overview: Veracity is growing and has an immediate need for a self-driven individual with experience owning and managing software products in an Agile environment. As a Product Owner with Veracity you will have the opportunity to work with established Product and Project teams charged with conceptualizing and building new products as well maintaining and maximizing the profitability of existing products.
We're looking for a strategically minded individual with the ability to translate high-level vision to actionable requirements and project plans. Story points, sprints, user stories and roadmaps should not be obscure terms to you and you should feel confident in your ability to represent both your customer's and business stakeholders' interests and needs succinctly.

Interact with customers and stakeholders to identify new product ideas and enhancements
Requirements gathering and User Story creation
Participate in Roadmap building and project follow through
Troubleshooting product/system bugs and coordinating/communicating maintenance updates
Perform market and competitive landscape research to support business plans/cases
Manage product-centric projects and collaborate interdepartmentally to completion
Monitor product success via financial projections and performance
Collaborate strategically with marketing and other departments to formulate go-to-market strategies and launch plans
- Excellent communication - demonstrated ability in written and oral form to communicate ideas effectively. A strong propensity for telling a persuasive and engaging story and value proposition
- Collaborative - demonstrated ability to work within a team structure to reach a common goal and efficiently closeout projects
- Tools - Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Marketing Automation (email, web CMS etc.), Analytics Platforms (Google, Social etc.)
- Analytical skills to support data-driven decisions
- Product/user interface design experience with web or software technologies
- Agile project management methodologies

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Employee is constantly required to: sit up to 90% of the time in an office setting; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; operate a computer and other office productivity machinery; perform repetitive motions; see, read, talk, hear, communicate, exchange information, detect, judge, observe and assess; use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Employee must be available for 8 hours per day during the work hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and must work over 30 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
Little to no travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience:
1-2 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing or Business Analyst role
Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification Preferred
