The GBSD program is seeking a STAFF Printed Wiring Board (PWB) Designer. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space System team supporting the Air Force's Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program, working as part of the Guidance Computer team. The Guidance Computer (GC) is a high reliability, radiation hardened flight controller for the GBSD Aerospace Vehicle (AVE). The GBSD Guidance Computer contains digital processing, digital I/O, and analog actuator/power I/O electronics functions. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here. This position requires travel up to 50% of the time to El Segundo, CA through Q4 2021, and 10% travel thereafter. What You'll Get To Do: A PWB Designer will design analog and digital PWBs used in the Guidance Computer (GC) flight unit. The designer will work in a program team environment with other Designers, Electrical Engineers and Mechanical Engineers designing analog and digital printed circuit boards through release of fabrication drawing package. This position reports directly to the Guidance Computer Flight Unit Product Engineer.
