A successful candidate will have strong business acumen to develop strategic plans, the ability to condense those plans into executive level summaries, and the presence to present those plans and gather support at senior levels. The team member will report into the Chief Financial Officer who is responsible for strategic development. The candidate should enjoy deep research, analysis, and working with teams in a fast-paced environment.What You'll Do* Research international markets to understand the key financial service providers and emerging companies* Find and summarize market share statistics* Determine competitive dynamics* Identify potential market partners* Research key regulations* Build relationship with internal company and external leaders in each market* Become the go-to person for international market information* Develop detailed go-to-market strategy and plans* Manage workstreams that lead to entry into new marketsWhat You Need to Be Successful* Minimum of 2 years of work experience in consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, market research, or closely related field* Bachelor's degree with strong quantitative focus such as economics, math, finance, information systems, or engineering; or an Advanced degree (e.g. MBA or PhD)* Relevant industry experience in financial services or technology * Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills* Self-motivated with the ability to manage and drive competing priorities across multiple workstreams* Experience living /working internationally, or foreign language skills a plusAbout FinicityFinicity is an open banking platform that empowers consumers to make better financial decisions through the next generation of FinTech applications.
