Please read the job description below to see if you make the cut and would like to join our squad.Stroops has an immediate part time to full time opening for a talented individual to fill a recently opened Accounts Receivable Specialist/Shipping position in Clearfield Utah. This candidate will be in a critical internal and external customer facing role responsible for decreasing past due Accounts Receivables (AR), invoicing, building solid relationships with internal sales and external customers and vendors. We would prefer candidates who have a background working with Quickbooks, or other enterprise-level accounting software. In this position, we are seeking candidates who have experience interfacing with clients over the phone and who have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be a team player, demonstrate flexibility and have a can do attitude. This is not a supervisory position.Qualities* Effectively multi-tasks* Consistently engages in process improvement actions* Dependable* Organized* Strong follow-through* Problem-solving skillsQualification* Two years of accounts receivable, invoicing and accounting office experience preferred* Experience with monthly volume invoicing processed in QuickBooks using recurring revenue automation would be preferred.* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); especially when dealing with clients on the phone.* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.* Proven experience in collection or problem-solving calls with clients.* Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, and flexibility to accept changes as they occur.* Basic customer service skills* Good communication skills - phone and emailDuties* Maintain A/R days past due under 90 days through diligence and solving issues before they become problems.* Invoice* Post payments that come in the mail daily.* Post payments that come via email or fax daily.* assisting with database maintenance* updating cost, part numbers, and description* ensuring pricing and product groupings are accurate and up-to-date* evaluating potential vendors* Processing of recurring and non-recurring invoicing to existing customers.* Enter and follow up on initial orders:* Customer Invoicing* Communicating through established processes to other departments on new order status.* Follow current collection laws to collect and apply payments.* Answer phones and resolve customer questions and issues in a timely and professional manner.* Work within the department as well as other departments on customer and A/R issues* Excel based data analysis* All calls being handled* Informs customers about the company's policy without offending them* Offers quality customer service* Timely follow-ups* Improves processes* Ship ordersSkills:* Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (intermediate level) and Word* Quickbooks experience desired, or other enterprise-level accounting softwareAssociates degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.This position is an in office position.
