In an attempt to recruit the highest quality people to join our team and demonstrate the value we place in our employees, we offer an extremely competitive compensation, bonus, and benefits packages, which are among the best in the industry.GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:You will report to and partner with our Senior Systems Administrator who will coach you to be successful in your role. On any one day you might:

  • Provide First Level Help Desk Support
  • Create/edit/modify users & email accounts
  • Format/Install/Configure new and old computers
  • Work with and set up VPN software
  • Maintain enterprise virus software
  • Troubleshoot a variety of equipment including PCs, laptops, printers, scanners and other peripheral equipment
  • Grant or deny access and permissions to resources
  • Maintain and manage an inventory of computer and network equipment
  • Travel to site locations as required
  • Support the Senior Engineers in daily projects and activities as directed
  • Maintenance of IT equipment throughout the head quarter office
  • Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work
  • Manage RMA and repair process for all devices under warrantyBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associate in Computer Science or related field or experience equivalent
    • CERTIFICATE(S), LICENSE(S), REGISTRATION(S) Microsoft Office365 Certifications preferred but not requiredWE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
      • Good understanding of basic computer hardware concepts and terminologies
      • Experience in supporting end-user hardware equipment like desktop, laptops and printers
      • Experience in supporting Windows operating system and Client software like MS Office, VPN etc.
      • Good knowledge on networking concepts and basic troubleshooting
      • Strong troubleshooting skills of IT systems
      • Good written and verbal communication skills
      • Comfortable communicating in person and via phone/e-mail with peers, management, contractors and vendors
      • Ability to work from home as requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
        • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
        • 1-3 years of experience in IT support
        • Experience in supporting switches, Wi-fi, routers & firewall
        • Inventory management skills
        • Network+ / A+ Certified or equivalent experience/knowledge
        • Ability to document technical customer issues into notes that are consumable by other parties
        • Ability to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously
        • Ability to prioritize work based on department and production objectives
        • CERTIFICATE(S), LICENSE(S), REGISTRATION(S) Microsoft Office365 Certifications would be considered an assetCOMPUTER APPLICATIONS WE USEKnowledge of the following software would be considered an asset:
