Learn more about our award-winning organization by visiting The Director, Quality Assurance leads the GQO Quality Assurance teams for Salt Lake City with focus on Quality Assurance activities with responsibility on delivering key quality and compliance results through subordinate leaders. Responsibilities & Duties: A member of the GQO Americas West Quality Assurance Leadership Team with responsibility for leading the Site Quality Assurance teams for one or more manufacturing sites within the region. Responsible for delivering key Quality, compliance and business results through managing subordinatebusiness unitQuality Assurance leaders and QC supervisor. Direct the development and implementation of quality activities for responsible sites to ensure Products and processes consistently conform to Stryker, FDA, ISO and other quality related regulatory requirements, including systems for Purchasing Controls, Identification and Traceability, Production and Process Controls and Changes, Nonconforming product and CAPA, Acceptance Activities (Inspection and Test Service). Effective management and/or support to audits from quality related regulatory agencies and notified bodies at the responsible sites, in partnership with Division RAQA heads and Operations leadership. Effective and timely communication with Franchise QA leader, DML and DOL leaders of any potential quality issues, field actions and product holds being investigated, Successful execution of quality engineering-related activities, including problem solving, product and process quality improvement for in house manufacturing as well as supplier related non conformances to ensure highest levels of quality and supply for products and components. Develop and implement quality strategies with the quality planning process that align with site, region and global QA vision. Collaborate and support of companywide quality planning continuous improvement projects. Ensures appropriate quality systems and organizational structures are in place to meet Quality expectations and business needs Leverage efficiencies across multiple sites in the region by implementing standardized/harmonized methodologies for product quality and KPI attainment. Foster collaboration, develop partnerships, and participate in multi-disciplinary Quality teams across the region and with all internal and external stakeholders to shares best practices with other regions/sites. Leverage shared services and drive common processes to improve quality and reduce cost. Partner with Franchise Quality Leader to connect Regional and Site priorities with Franchise needs Ensure deployment and exchange of regional talent and leverage geographic synergies. Education & Qualifications: BS , MS or MBA Quality Assurance knowledge and understanding. 10+ years experience in QA/RA or related field preferred. 5+ years as a Manager of a QA/RA or other technical function or applicable technical, customer and product experience preferred. Excellent analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated effective managerial skills. Excellent organizational skills. Strong leadership and management skills. Ability to effectively participate on multi-disciplinary teams. Well-organized and detailed oriented professional, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
