The Director, Sales, SLED, directs the development and execution of Galvanize's strategic sales objectives across the State Local, Education, Defense (SLED) nationally.

Bringing a decorated sales track record of success and key learnings, the Director, Sales, SLED, helps their team meet and exceed expectations by leveraging your deep understanding of the requirements and best practices required to forge successful relationships with customers across SLED in North America.

Responsibilities & Duties

* Recruit, hire, and train a sales team using Force Management and MEDDIC principles * Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed * Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them * Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts * Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members * Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment * Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed


* 5 years of experience in sales in a SaaS environment * 3+ years of leadership in SLED * Strong oral and written communication skills * Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas * Excellent leadership skills * Experience setting sales goals * Results-oriented with strong analytical skills * Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices
