Pay Rate Range $10/hr.
KUER 90.1, the NPR member station broadcasting from the
University of Utah, is looking for a Marketing Assistant. The
successful candidate will provide support to the Marketing and
Development Departments by providing clerical work in relation to
marketing and station fundraising. Additional duties may include
maintaining station analytics, community engagement outreach (if
applicable) and assistance during fundraising efforts.
This position will run from summer 2021 through spring 2022
(4/30/22). The candidate will need to apply for and receive
approval for a Fall and Spring Federal Work-Study Award
This is a Category IIA position: Not required on campus and able
to telework during the duration of the University's COVID -19
response. Employees and/or functions where employees are able to
work remotely in order to maintain campus systems, campus
operations, clinical operations, and patient care.
- Track and maintain station archives, analytics and contact
- Assist with social media projects
- Assist with marketing emails and external communications
- Assist with fund drives, including packaging and shipping,
managing volunteers and acquiring donations
- Assist with creation and distribution of station promotional
- Perform other duties as needed to assist the KUER marketing

Strong communication and customer service skills required. Good
computer and organizational skills are essential. Strong time
management skills and the ability to work independently are

Experience working in Excel is preferred.
Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are
preferred, but not required.
