What we expect of a Project Manager Project Execution ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager manages all aspects of projects from collaborative planning through final completion. This includes performing preliminary design stages, managing team communication, determining project resourcing needs, assigning project tasks to Project Engineers and BIM Modelers, controlling and accomplishing the project plan, ensuring safe and code compliant design, performing quality control, and following the Axiom Quality Management System (QMS) to work outputs.Project Financial ResponsibilitiesThe project financial responsibilities of the Project Manager include generating estimates of project fees, managing project activities to budget, and recognizing and preventing scope creep.Marketing and Client Experience ResponsibilitiesProject Managers are expected to help build client relationships and assuring that each project fulfills project goals, client expectations and Axiom?s Brand Promise.Basic Qualifications+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering+ 5 years full-time work experience+ S.E. license or eligible to take SE exam within 1 year+ Experience in mid-sized structural projects ($5M - $50M).+ Core strength in at least one material and market type+ Experience in that requires multitasking within a broader team Preferred Qualifications+ Masters in Civil Engineering preferred (with a structural emphasis)+ Experience in steel building design in industrial or healthcare markets+ Experience in mid-sized structural projects ($5M - $50M)Our BenefitsBenefits include company paid health and dental insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, Employee Assistance Program, paid time off, sabbatical program and vision option.
