The Impact Youll Make in this Role As a Strategic Workforce Planning Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: * Partnering with HRBPs and business leaders to develop and execute on strategic workforce plans that incorporate business needs, assess talent gaps and leverages tools to model mitigation plans through scenario planning. * Consulting with the business to solve and/or mitigate current and anticipated workforce challenges, proactively identify the critical workforce requirements necessary to execute strategic business plans. * Leading and facilitating workforce planning initiatives in partnership with HRBPs including, but not limited to, critical role/capability identification, environmental scanning, gap analysis, risk analysis, and action planning. * Continuously measure and assess progress against existing workforce plans to ensure practical business alignment and exhibit the ability to lead cross-functional projects in the design of alternative approaches. * Partnering with Talent Acquisition organization to provide insights into external talent market conditions; applying a strong understanding of external macro-economic trends that may impact future workforce composition. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: * Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution * Seven (7) combined years experience in full-cycle recruitment, workforce planning, and/or human resources in a private, public, or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: * Masters degree or higher from an accredited institution * Ten (10) combined years experience in full-cycle recruitment, workforce planning, and/or human resources in a private, public, or military environment * Ability to build relationships with, present to, and influence senior leadership * Capable problem solver with strong analytical skills * Ability to translate data into action/recommendation * Strong project management skills and highly collaborative Travel: May include up to 10% Relocation Assistance: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
