Senior Coordinator, Inventory Management (Full Time, Days) What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements. The Profiling position is responsible for the optimization of space within the warehouse, item velocity and ergonomic considerations through strategic and continuous slotting of items. Qualifications: High school degree preferred Excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills required Inventory, Operations, or profiling experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft office What is expected of you and others at this level: Brings a positive attitude in interactions with others. Responsible for velocity resets across all warehouse zones in alignment with DC strategies Resolve item and location exceptions (min/max issues, product moves, creating reserve location) Responsible for maintaining profiling in all specialty zones, including compliance verification Execute inventory cycle counts as necessary Research and analysis of product velocity, location size and warehouse attributes Proactive analysis to address ergonomic issues Effectively applies knowledge of job and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments In-depth knowledge in technical or specialty area Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems independently May modify process to resolve situations Works independently within established procedures; may receive general guidance on new assignments May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members Leadership potential, communication and influence skills Accountabilities: On a regular basis, conduct heavyanalysis to determine strategic ways to change the profile and layout of where items should be stored Assist in providing recommendations of processes Effectively work independently with little supervision Provide timely solutions for inventory team Regularly work within Excel to run inventory analysis Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support your and your family's health and well-being.
