For more information, visit Job SummaryThe Customer Account Representative (CAR) is responsible for working with our existing customers in a consultative capacity in order to identify new opportunities for product growth. This is a sales position. The Customer Account Representative's primary role is finding additional business opportunities by developing relationships with current customers within an assigned territory. The CAR works in conjunction with Regional Account Executives and Associates to develop both long-term strategies and specific campaigns. The Customer Account Representative builds and maintains relationships with existing customers through multiple strategies, including - but not limited to - campaigns, phone calls, e-mails, and on-site visits. The CAR will work with their client accounts in relational based consultative engagements focused on discovery and seeking to better understand the clients' needs to determine how and which MasterControl solutions would best address their pain points and expand MasterControl into the clients' organizations. This may include a wide variety of tasks, including account reviews, proposing short term and long term projects, bringing the right MasterControl service resource, providing pricing quotes, product demonstrations, and participation in trade shows or various sales or marketing campaigns at the direction of sales management.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOutbound customer prospecting for the development of targeted opportunities Spearhead customer relationship activities Maintain accurate customer account data in contact management softwareDevelop strategic plans to grow customer product use and uptakeCreate, maintain, forecast and report on opportunities using contact management softwareFacilitate new programs, messages, campaigns and offeringsTrouble shoot client issues and coordinating with need MasterControl departments for resolutionKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesSoftware sales and/or marketing experience is requiredExcellent communication skills, both written and oral, are requiredProficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), computer systems, and communication tools is requiredAbility to complete proposal projects by critical deadlines.Knowledge of the Life Sciences and Medical Device.Experience with Salesforce preferredPast software sales experience preferredManufacturing or experience on manufacturing floor is a bonus.Minimum RequirementsAssociate's degree in a technical or business discipline (preferred or equivalent experience)Work experience should include a minimum of 2 years in a relation based sales, software sales support role, Life Science or Production/Manufacturing experiencePhysical Demands & Working Conditions:Ability to work non-standard hours Some travel as required (15%)Ability to operate a computer and work at a desk for extended periods of timeBending, stooping and lifting are required on occasionWhy Work Here?#WhyWorkAnywhereElse?MasterControl is a place where Exceptional Teams come together to do their best work.
