  • And so much more!Job SummaryHelp prepare regulatory and technical documents for customers, be responsible for creating and preparing registration documents for products, reviewing product formulas and labels, and coordinate product testing. The successful candidate will be able to handle multiple projects, have high interpersonal skills, and have the ability to respond to common scientific and regulatory inquiries and effectively present information to the department.Essential Functions
    • Perform scientific, regulatory, and technical research on dietary supplements, cosmetics, food, and manufacturing processes.
    • Reviews formulations for dietary supplements, cosmetics, and food.
    • Review labels with a high level of detail.
    • Creates specifications for compliance testing for many different types of consumer packaged goods.
    • Research and implement procedures based on various regulatory recommendations.Additional Responsibilities
      • May be required to cross train and demonstrate competency on all essential job functions within the department.
      • Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs, and activities.
      • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
      • Other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications
        • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in a scientific or technical field required. Master's degree preferred.
        • Ability to respond to common scientific and regulatory inquiries and to effectively present information to the department.
        • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets.
        • Must be able to handle multiple projects and switch between all at a moment's notice.
        • Must have a positive, professional attitude and demeanor, and assist in improving internal processes.
        • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills.
        • Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
        • Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
        • Ability to calculate product and chemical compositions and percentages.
        • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
        • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
        • Must be detailed oriented.Physical Requirements
          • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
          • Employee must exert up to 30 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
