Ascend has an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Business Development Executive.

PURPOSE

This position's primary responsibility is to effectively sell Ascend Technologies comprehensive line of Professional and Managed Cybersecurity offerings. The Cybersecurity Business Development Executive will grow Ascends market penetration by taking our offerings to existing and prospective clients, as well as existing and prospective channel partners.

This role supports the long-term company strategic goals, builds key client relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

DAY-TO-DAY FOCUS

  • Become a subject matter expert on Ascend cybersecurity offerings
  • Successfully identify client needs and pain points and be able to demonstrate a solution to solve their needs using Ascend Cyber Security Offerings
  • Develop sales plan to drive target sell achievement
  • Management of individual sales prospects from initial contact through contract execution
  • Preparation of sales proposals, contracts and other business development documents
  • Planning and leadership to manage the company resources in support of sales strategies and execution of client requirements
  • Work closely with technical support teams to execute client contracts, requirements and expectations
  • Engage, Manage, and co-sell with Channel Partners to grow our Channel Based Cyber offering
  • Engage and develop new Channel Partners that focus on our Cybersecurity offerings
  • Educate our customer base on all the latest and greatest technology
  • Aggressively work towards achieving sales goals and milestones

    How You Will Succeed
    • 3+ years experience selling Cybersecurity solutions
    • Driven to exceed technology sales quotas
    • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
    • A passion for technology, problem-solving, and customer service
    • Strong ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks
    • Contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
    • Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
    • Upbeat, friendly, motivated and ready to help our team and clients
