JOB DESCRIPTION

Legacy Logistics is looking for an intern for the Fall to the Winter to join our freight brokerage operation. This person must be detail oriented and will get first hand experience in the freight area of supply chain in a fast growing company. This position will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of our freight operation. Must have excellent verbal, written and communication skills. Able to manage time effectively and maintain effective performance under pressure. Customer service skills and a knowledge of basic computer concepts required. A Bachelor's degree in supply chain or working towards one is a must. Individuals must be currently attending the University of Utah, BYU, BYU- Idaho, Weber State University or Utah State University.

8am - 5pm. M-F This is a paid internship

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Thorough organization of paperwork and processes and able to multitask
• Conflict resolution for customers when necessary
• Ability to negotiate with customers
• Assist Logistics Coordinator in all operations
• Able to communicate professionally by phone and email

  • Bachelor's Degree or working towards one in Supply Chain
