Job Description:

This is a seasonal role April- September 2022

Enjoy the outdoors, getting dirt under your fingernails, and basking in the beautiful Utah sun? Want to surround yourself with fellow earth-loving dirtbags who love to climb in our amazing mountain town, or do want to learn to climb yourself? Well, you just hit the jackpot! The Landscape Laborer at The Front Climbing Club fills their days with plenty of cultivation and care of our two SLC locations, with incredibly fun opportunities to participate in various creative outdoor design projects. The happiest candidate will have a breadth of experience, an impeccable work ethic, and enjoy working in the great outdoors while producing beautiful results.

You love working and playing in the dirt. You work carefully and efficiently, and you take pride in the quality of what you produce. You are an expert in following direction and carefully laid out plans, and you want to be involved in purposeful work with lasting beauty for others to enjoy.

You are committed to supporting your team by participating in clear communication. Your eye for detail and commitment to quality control ensures you do not perform at status quo - you push your team and company to new heights (pun intended).

The Front Climbing Club was Utah's first indoor rock-climbing gym, and one of the first in the nation. From its humble beginnings as The Body Shop back in the 80's to three best-in-class facilities today, The Front has never lost its soul or connection to its roots.

The Front is led by three core values, which are outlined below. These values drive our day-to-day decisions as well as the future vision for our company. We expect every member of our team to embrace these values and believe they should align with your personal values to do so.

We do not offer easy jobs. We simply cannot slow down enough to kick back and relax while we are at work, but we highly encourage you to shut off your devices and email and disappear into the mountains on your own time.

Our culture is built on this level of work ethic, as well as integrity, community (we do not use that word lightly), and unity.

All that said, we also know how to have a good time.
