If this sounds like a fit, we're looking to hire a Network Security Solutions Architect to join our Cyber Advisory Services team, supporting the business vision and enabling project objectives by providing advice, guidance, and solution design aligned with the Enterprise Cyber Security (ECS) strategy.

Description:

The ECS Technology stack is made up of multiple delivery teams, technical disciplines and supports the end-to-end program solutions. The Network Security Solution Architect position will focus on design, integration, and specific security controls related to network security /security engineering.

As the Network Security Solutions Architect you will focus on network security management, and you'll have an opportunity to partner with other experienced technology resources to transform the existing technical stack and modernize several platforms and apps. In this role you will participate in the strategic design and implementation of network security controls in support of broader IT and business initiatives. In addition, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architecture, data science, network engineering, and cloud security teams to analyze, define and implement the technical solution architecture in support of the network security strategy.

What your days and weeks will include.

* Identify and define security controls related to network security
* Identify end-to-end technical solutions based on business needs that utilize a service-based architecture
* Provide technology and security consulting for security and network-related efforts across MassMutual
* Partner with Enterprise Architecture to further the strategic vision and roadmaps
* Capture future state technology vision in actionable, context-specific roadmaps
* Partner directly with the specific technology subject matter experts, program owners and technical leads to ensure architecture standards are adopted and solutions are aligned.
* Accountable for implementation of cross-functional solution architecture of all technologies involving network security
* Understand and proactively assess the current state of the technology and identify gaps and overlaps
* Review and influence new and evolving design, architecture, standards, and methods for operating services and systems
* Stay abreast of industry and technology trends to ensure technologies are optimized, recommending investments and rationalization
* Conduct technology assessments and make recommendations that align with gaps or technology rationalization
* Possess deep industry understanding and a point-of-view of the services provided, and the technologies/products used in the industry to effectively make recommendations on product usage and investment at MassMutual

The skills that make you a great fit.

* Seasoned individual, minimum of 8 years in design & implementation experience in network security/security engineering
* Experience with design patterns and modeling tools.
* Experience in DevSecOps methodologies
* Skilled in leading and facilitating system design and architectural activities in support of design reviews and decisions
* Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team-based environment including a global workforce, vendors, and third-party contractors
* Proven ability to provide technical leadership and guidance
* Detailed understanding of Agile framework and both Scrum/Kanban methodologies
* Excellent mentoring skills and the desire to contribute to efforts beyond the scope of the day-to-day project work
* Strong, solid understanding of operating systems platforms including Linux, DNS, network subnetting and design, firewalls, web proxies, DLP, remote access methodologies, and network access control
* Ability to work with virtual and global teams - including diverse groups of people with varied backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences
* Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
* Preferred Cloud providers certifications: DevOps Foundation, CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer Associate
* Team Player / Relationship Building: Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills; able to relate to and build strong relationships with diverse internal and external audiences/constituencies; leverages the ability to deliver effectively.

Target job salary $110,600.00 - $192,400.00 USD Annual
