Data Governance Solution Architect Incredible opportunity to create a high profile data system for an award winning enterprise company! RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with product and engineering counterparts to develop business process and solution architectures for enabling and delivering data management capabilities
• Develop and extend the information architecture for the business domain of data/information management
• Model and map existing lean value streams and partner with relevant stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement
• Assist in cost assessments and recommend pragmatic approaches, balancing timelines with iterative cost optimization
• Identify opportunities to further leverage Collibra and other commercial or open-source tools and conduct build vs buy assessments
• Identify and extend business and technical metadata for effective management and understanding of data and information assets and driving automation
• Develop approaches for leveraging other enterprise asset management solutions (e.g., ServiceNow) as sources for additional context for data marketplace assets
• Identify approaches and develop architectural runways/enablers for driving and orchestrating data quality, security, compliance, and stewardship workflows
• Rationalize existing workflows (in BPMN) and identify opportunities for decoupling, generalizing, reusing, and/or simplifying them
• Identify measures and metrics for various data marketplace personae
• Negotiate solutions between parties effectively and for the best of Cox Automotive; be autonomous and make decisions without oversight when appropriate
• Frame technical or architectural alternatives in business terms, clearly articulating both business and technical implications of various options.This is a direct hire position where you can work remotely or come into the office at the Perimeter in Atlanta.   • Senior level enterprise business and information architecture experience with: data, application, technical, security
  • Lean data management and process improvement
  • DAMA DMBOK experience
  • Prior experience in application development
  • Experience with data management tools such as Collibra (preferred), Alation, Axon, or Amundsen
  • Experience with reporting tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker PREFERRED SKILLS:
    • Lean value stream mapping sessions
    • Experience enabling and automating data science workflows Must be authorized to work in the US. Sponsorships are not available.
