UX is fine but we need visual experience as well as some experience with motion/animation----> (FOR USE IN THE APP). Remote but must reside in EST$90-100k depending on experience w/10% bonus potentialOur clients US Retail team is transforming their Stores into the definitive Working & Learning destination for local communities. In support of these efforts, we are designing and building a differentiated brand and omni channel digital first experience focused on a best in class loyalty program, shopping companion application and activating and engaging the local customer communities surrounding our Stores. If you enjoy driving market disruption and are comfortable challenging "norms", then this may well be the opportunity you've been looking for - Traditional Digital & eCommerce Mindsets Need Not Apply.What this position is all about:We are seeking a highly creative visual digital product designer, who is passionate about producing strategic, integrated and cutting-edge mobile applications and web experiences. This role will work closely with a variety of stakeholders across the organization, champion our solutions for customer needs and ensure our brand promise comes to life through compelling digital experiences.Responsibilities:

• Serve as the trusted authority for ensuring digital designs embody our brand strategy, purpose, positioning as well as its look and feel
• Maintain a big picture view of the overall digital experience ensuring that features, functions and designs come together in a manner that is relevant for meeting our customers' needs
• Build from and onto the established digital design system, and produce visual designs for our digital experience encompassing Community, Content, Loyalty and eCommerce elements
• Experience with UI/UX design patterns as a secondary skill set is a great asset
• Work with a team of developers to provide feedback on the implementation of design work and guide motion design components
• Collaborate with Product Management, Developers, and other team members to ensure that desired business outcomes are delivered effectively
• Work closely with Store Team, Field Operations and Marketing stakeholders to ensure that our digital experience is directly aligned with day-to-day store operations and brand campaignQualifications (You are....):
  • A university graduate who possesses a relevant degree
  • A credible and recognized expert in your space with 3 to 5 years of visual design with a focus on digital in a Retail or Direct-to-Consumer context
  • Agency experience is a big plus
  • Experience with loyalty and rewards programs is a big plus
  • Comfortable collaborating with mixed teams of internal and external resources
  • Highly empathetic to customer wants and needs, and intuitively know how they could translate into experiences
  • Open minded in your approach to customer experiences, ready to change a design or even start from scratch regardless of personal biases
  • Familiar with best practices and are in-tune with the latest industry and consumer trends
  • Well versed with design processes, agile methodologies and iterative ways-of-working
  • Experienced in building scalable consumer-facing digital products and the design nuances that are typically required for ensuring their success
  • Familiar with privacy legislations and their implications on customer facing user experience designs
