Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Modeling Simulation and Analysis Systems Engineer to join the AVE Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) Team. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What you'll get to do:

  • The AVE MS&A Verification and Validation (V&V) engineer will be responsible for providing oversight and technical support across multiple disciplines and will be reporting to the AVE MS&A V&V Lead.
  • Help plan and coordinate the development and implementation of model V&V standards, plans, activities, and reports across multiple disciplines including: Fluids, Structures, GNC, Flight Performance, propulsion, etc in accordance with MIL-STD 3022 and DOD V&V best practices.
  • Help architect and develop MBSE (Cameo) content in support of cross-discipline model V&V efforts. These responsibilities include verification and validation of analytical models, and analysis/simulation software tools.As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:

    • Employee Discounts This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

      You'll bring these qualifications:
      • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Software) from an accredited university
      • A minimum 2 years of experience in Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis of aerospace systems; 0 year with a Masters of experience in Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis of aerospace systems
      • U.S. Citizenship and an Active Secret Security Clearance or higher awarded or reviewed in the last 6 years These qualifications would be nice to have:
        • Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution
        • Experience with CAMEO or similar MBSE
        • Experience with MIL-STD 3022
        • Experience with Modeling & Simulation (M&S) verification and validation
        • Experience with Design of Experiments
        • Significant experience with CAMEO or similar MBSE tools
        • Broad technical experiences in mechanical engineering and/or aerospace engineering disciplines
        • Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and analytic skills
        • Works well in a team environment

          Salary Range: $71,100 USD - $106,700 USD

          Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
