**The Role at a Glance**



As the SVP, Retirement Plan Services Operations, you will provide executive and strategic leadership to the following functional areas: Administration, Participant Contact Center, Reporting and Analytics, Technical Support, Account Management, Implementation, Plan Services, Regulatory and Strategic Initiatives. You will direct the servicing of all RPS Annuity products and Open Architecture programs. You will also serve as overall champion and voice for the business transformation and change management initiatives to be implemented parallel to the development, build and delivery of the new administrative capabilities for the business.



**What you'll be doing**



+ Develop an overall strategic vision for RPS Operations functional areas



+ Ensure RPS Operations' functional areas are meeting all objectives pertaining to quality, compliance, regulations, productivity, customer service, budget, and project management



+ Ensure RPS operational plans are aligned with Lincoln Financial Group's (LFG) overall business plans and specific strategic and tactical initiatives



+ Provide critical operational thought leadership and expertise to strategically drive improved financial and business results



+ Develop and direct the administration of expense budget which includes approving expenditures, managing vendor relationships/expenses, reviewing reports, initiating process improvements and reducing cost



+ Lead the RPS organizational focus on customer service at every touch point while simultaneously delivering operational effectiveness



+ Lead all RPS new business, call centers, and inforce customer service center operations in a high-volume environment with significant regulatory complexities



+ Leads the re-engineering efforts of the individual operations areas, partnering with program and functional leaders, IT, internal CI, and business stakeholders for a successful outcome, focusing on decreasing unit costs, increasing productivity, and an uplift in the customer experience, with measurements and scorecards provided to stakeholders at regular intervals



+ Ensure the development and maintenance of an effective organization; including but not limited to, efficient work flow patterns; established performance standards; effective delineation of duties and responsibilities; suitable staffing levels; appropriate supervision; and systems for timely communication of pertinent information



+ Ensure the development, implementation, documentation, and monitoring of compliance related matters; meeting or exceeding all regulatory agency guidelines and standards as well customer requirements



+ Ensure the appropriate controls (financial, operational effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and regulatory controls) are maintained within RPS Operations



+ Support sales growth initiatives by proactively collaborating with wholesale, retail, and distribution strategic partners to successfully position RPS to meet their current and future needs



+ Evaluate and prioritize activities with and across the operations area, striking the appropriate balance between critical near-term deliverables and initiatives that are underway to drive improved and more efficient results in the longer-term



**What we're looking for**



+ 15+ years of increasing financial and operational management experience within the financial services industry including 5+ years of senior management, strategy, and influencing senior management and critical stakeholders experience



+ Retirement Plan operations experience preferred



+ FINRA S6 and S26 within 180 days of hire, preferred upon hire



+ 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent work experience, MBA preferred



+ Sound knowledge and business application of insurance industry standard Information Technology (IT) administration platforms (i.e. administrative platforms, AWD, call center technologies, and business rules engines) and automated processes.



+ Deep knowledge of product distribution models, operational metrics, staffing models, and budgeting.



+ Sound knowledge of organizational effectiveness.



+ Thorough knowledge of the regulatory environment.



+ Deep understanding of related products and the sales process within the servicing of all RPS Products and Programs.



+ Experience in managing high volume, highly regulated, time sensitive customer services processes and centers.



+ Demonstrated experience driving improvement in customer satisfaction.



+ Demonstrated experience managing process flow.



+ In-depth knowledge of and experience with managing large, complex operational areas within the financial services industry, preferably insurance focused.



+ Demonstrated experience with Continuous Operational Improvement, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Six Sigma, or Lean Six Sigma and translating experience into operational metrics and processes.



+ Ability to travel 25-50%
