    Responsibilities:
    
    • Assisting to maintain order and safety of kindergarten through eighth grade students
    • Organizing and participating in outside games and activities
    • Tutoring students and assisting with homework
    • Preparing art and craft activities
    • Have a friendly and confident demeanor and to work patiently with students, parents, and co-workers
    • Have energy, confidence, and enthusiasm
      
      Challenger School seeks an enthusiastic individual to support teaching Challenger's curriculum, mission, and values to students enrolled in our Extended Class Program. This program runs before and after school, and teacher assistants also serve as lunchroom supervisors during lunch periods. Occasionally, Challenger has specialized enrichment positions available such as chess instructor. Teacher assistants may choose to work a full-time or part-time schedule. Shifts include Monday-Friday 7:00am-9:00am, 11:00am-1:00pm, and 3:00-6:00pm. Applicants with availability until 6:00pm will be given preference. Tuition discount available for children and grandchildren.
