daily basis for assigned production lines to ensure that product is
produced in accordance with established quality and product
standards. Must familiarize with the daily production goals so they
are achieved for each line assignment.Evaluate and discuss the
operation of assigned machinery with the Machine Operator from the
previous shift. Will operate and adjust production line equipment,
in accordance with established production standards as well as
perform preventative maintenance and report any problems.Machine
Operators will perform quality checks on containers to ensure
proper specifications are maintained.Document any problems or
adjustments made to assigned machinery.Check and maintain defined
levels of all raw materials used in production on assigned
machinery.Keep all assigned machines and area neat and clean of
debris.Machine Operators will operate and maintain assigned pieces
of production equipment on a continuous basis in order to meet or
exceed job standards and quality specifications. The incumbent is
expected to be a self-starter, a good manager of time and work
professionally and independently.Perform all tasks involved in the
production of plastic products. Responsible to perform mold setups
and changeovers as it relates to the production schedule.
Additionally, will be responsible for the cleaning, assembly and
testing of nozzles, nozzle blocks, barrels, rods and manifold
extensions to ensure proper working condition is maintained. The
incumbent is expected to be a self-starter, a good manager of time,
be able to work independently and follow Alphas standards for
safety and conduct. Perform Prep work to prepare for mold
changeovers and correct process related problems as directed by
supervisor. As directed by supervisor, execute tooling setups and
changes along with completing required documentation to ensure all
work is performed in accordance with standardized procedures,
instructions and standards. Perform preventative maintenance on all
tools currently in production such as cleaning and greasing of
molds, etc. clean, inspect and lubricate equipment and machinery
and communicate parts inventory issues to the supervisor. Respond
to trouble-shooting calls and mold performance issues to seek cause
and perform or assist with repair. Evaluate and discuss the
operation of assigned machinery with other affected personnel.
Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas and assist in the
overall cleanliness and orderliness of the manufacturing area.
Attend training sessions to maintain and/or improve technical
knowledge and performance and provide technical assistance and
training to all Operators, where applicable. Must be able to:
effectively communicate with internal and external customers,
follow written instructions, use a variety of hand and power tools,
wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE),
operate material handling equipment and maintain safest possible
working environment for self and all facility associates. Perform
quality checks on containers to insure proper specifications are
maintained. Document any problems or adjustments made to assigned
machinery. Follow Plant specified job specification and task

Skills & Qualifications:the employee is regularly required to sit,
stand, walk, use hands and fingers; talk and hear. you may be asked
to operate a forklift at times, so some comfort in that is a plus
Start up production machines; periodically check to insure machine
set points are accurate. Operate various production machines
(extrusion blow mold, extrusion machine, injection blow mold,
injection mold, label, pad printer, silk-screen). Ensure proper
operation of machines; clean filters, perform minor maintenance,
and monitor while purging. Insure proper sleeves, boxes, labels and
materials are used for the line running (verify by part numbers).
Maintains M.O. Weight and Process Check Sheets. Conduct quality
inspections while line is running; check samples for compliance to
specifications. Respond to problems on the line making proper
adjustments to machines. Notify supervisor when repairs and
maintenance are required. Re-start machines after maintenance is
completed. Prepare paperwork/documentation on problems, cause and
solutions. Record production and/or quality data (manual/data
collector). Close out production run.Plastics blow molding: 1 year
