Supply Chain Planner-Deployment Planner (Hybrid)Position preference is within an ICU Medical Inc site such as Plymouth MN, Salt Lake City UT, San Clemente CA or Lake Forest IL location. Position is remote now but will eventually move to on a hybrid work arrangement of 2 days onsite, 3 days remote. POSITION PURPOSEThe Supply Chain Planner utilizes various systems/resources to manage the deployment of product from source location to DC/shipping locations throughout the network taking into account demand, current inventory, inventory targets, customer service objectives and costs. This role scrutinizes Planning system output and makes decisions that supports business trade-offs. This will involve close interaction with Demand Planners and Master Schedulers in order to reconcile and adjust requirements in support of changing demand, supplier constraints and global inventory objectives. - They will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives to develop and support the network planning, allocation, and reporting activities. -POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESAssesses ASCP signals and positions inventory in order to meet the requirements of the demand plan. -Ensures appropriate liaison with sales and marketing to maintain inventory allocation. -Ensures appropriate liaison with Supply Chain Planning to maintain lead times and availability. -Provide input to the Monthly S&OP Process. -Develop close relations with Global Product Managers, Sales & Marketing, Operations and Key Customers. -Drive continuous improvement in planning policies, systems, procedures, and metrics. -Other duties as assigned, such as demand planning activities.This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site). -Engage others, promote, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement. -Other duties as assigned by supervisor.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, SKILL AND/OR COMPETENCY -REQUIREMENTSEducation Required: -University Degree (BA degree) required. -Education requirements can be obtained through an educational institution or gained through equivalent work experience.Technical Knowledge and Skills--- Minimum 3 years of experience in Demand/Supply Planning ---- Supply/ Deployment Planning experience in a global environment preferred--- Experience using Supply Chain Planning systems--- Experience leading Supply Planning and Inventory continuous improvement projects.--- Able to work across matrix organizations and internationally to deliver results.--- Experience in Medical Device manufacturing industry preferred.--- Excellent computer skills with focus on Excel and PowerPoint--- Proven collaboration skills--- Strong communication and presentation skills--- Understanding of financial impacts and cost/benefit analysis--- Oracle / ERP systems experience--- APICS, IBF or similar related accreditation preferredAbilities--- Adherence to moral and ethical principals; demonstrated honesty and courage ---- Treats others with honesty, fairness, and respect ---- Demonstrates high ethical and moral standards ---- Takes responsibility for decisions and accomplishing work goals within accepted timeframes ---- The willingness to tell the truth . . .
