Job Description:

FUNCTION: The Jet-Vac Truck Operator utilizes equipment to clean sanitary, storm and sewer pipes.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

* Responsible for the safe and professional operation of a jet-vac truck to clean underground pipes, vaults and tanks
* Complete cleaning of small and large diameter pipe, vaults and tanks to company standards
* Maintain equipment by performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs
* Maintains a driver log as required
* Entry into manhole and underground structures
* Manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging or pulling material, etc.)
* Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

* Ability to communicate effectively
* Ability to read and understand utility plans and site drawings

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

* Valid CDL A or B License and clean driving record
* Experience operating heavy equipment/machinery is required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to work in various weather conditions including heat, rain, snow
