Peczuh Printing (pronounced PZ printing) is looking for a Print Estimating Specialist to assist the Packaging crew. This includes but isn't limited to providing creating CAD and layout designs, creating estimates for customers, managing job progression and being the subject-matter expert on packaging projects.



Requirements:Primary Duties and Responsibilities Are:Estimating

• Estimate total costs for potential jobs from RFQ's, utilizing knowledge of labor and material costs, manufacturing methods and operating procedures, taking into account costs for raw materials and/or subcontracted work and laborCAD Creation/Layout Design
  • Assist CAD Designer with overflow work as needed
  • Coordinate with sales team to create CAD samples for customers
  • Create layout design from RFQ (request for quote) to exact customer specificationsCustomer Service
    • Present and discuss company products and services with current and potential customers
    • Manage job progression throughout the production process
    • Coordinate workflow with production staff to meet deadlines
    • Support efforts of CSR's (customer sales representatives)
    • Take ownership of job creation, instruction and process within the MIS system
    • Coordinate with shipping to ensure deadlines are met
    • Communicate with customers professionally and efficiently in all communication tools
    • Engage in creative and effective problem-solving as needed to resolve customer and production issues
    • Be the subject-matter expert and the go-to person for customersThis Position Requires:
      • Basic knowledge of packaging processes
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • MS Office Suite proficiency
      • Attention to detail - high level!
      • Excellent organizational skills
      • High school diploma or aboveYou'll Stand Out If You Have (Preferred Experience):
        • Previous experience in Customer Service and/or Estimating
