Inside the RoleAs part of the Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing
team, you are responsible for performing a variety of tasks related
to assembling and disassembly engines and multiple components. The
candidate for this position will have a passion for process
improvements, a keen eye to detail, and love numbers. Leading with

school diploma or equivalent.Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, inspect, repair and build water pumps, oil pumps,
gears and shafts.
- Contribute to area and company goals by meeting targets
pertaining to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement by offering
suggestions pertaining to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Accurately document production information daily
- Determine course of action to correct product that does not
meet the standard
- Rotate and cross train and help train others as needed
- Attend daily and weekly huddles and give inputSafety:Adhere to
all safety standardsAdvise team leader of any safety issuesAdhere
to 5S (Sort, Shine, Set in order, Standardize, Sustain) work
standards to promote safety, quality, efficiency and good
housekeepingParticipate in team/area/plant safety goals, audits and

regulationsBasic Required Skills & Experience:Ability to work in a
repetitive motion environmentAbility to lift up to 50lbs
frequently, with periodic lifts of up to 75lbs, (with assistance
from a team member or use of hoist)Ability to operate riveting,
torqueing, hand tools and small power tools in a safe and
nondestructive manner.Read and understand Work Station Instruction
documentationWillingness to cross-train throughout the areaAbility
to collaborate with a team and work independentlyAbility to work
