Inside the RoleAs part of the Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing team, you are responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to assembling and disassembly engines and multiple components. The candidate for this position will have a passion for process improvements, a keen eye to detail, and love numbers. • Disassemble, inspect, repair and build water pumps, oil pumps, gears and shafts.
• Contribute to area and company goals by meeting targets pertaining to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
• Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement by offering suggestions pertaining to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
• Accurately document production information daily
• Determine course of action to correct product that does not meet the standard
• Rotate and cross train and help train others as needed
