DEKRA North America is currently hiring Emissions Inspectors in Utah - in the SLC and Ogden areas. If you are a certified Emissions Inspector, then we want to talk to you. - In this job you will be responsible for greeting our customers, performing emissions tests on vehicles, performing oil changes, performing minor safety maintenance and offering products that will help our customers leave in a safer vehicle DEKRA is one of the world's leading testing, inspection and certification (TIC) companies offering innovative professional services in the fields of vehicle inspection, expert appraisals, industrial product testing & certification, management system certifications, leadership consulting, and much more.   • Perform specific vehicle tests and inspections following state/local regulations and the DEKRA standard.
  • Performs Technician duties as required such as inspect fluids, changing oil and oil filters, cabin filters, tire pressure, rotating tires, replace bulbs and wipers. -
  • Sell products and services aimed at making our customer's vehicles safer.
  • Make sure the station is always in compliance with the State requirements.
  • Perform all services and address all customers with exceptional customer service.
  • Answer telephone calls and assist customers by answering any questions and/or addressing any concerns.
  • Effectively manage cash and non-cash payment received from customers. This includes daily reconciliation of all payments received and completing bank deposits.
  • Make sure all daily reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the property and grounds.
  • Maintain supplies, tools and equipment at the station are neat and organized.
  • Complete required tasks outlined in the daily and weekly checklists at your station.
  • Maintain supply and product inventory for your location. Submit requests weekly to Area manager as needed.
  • Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to the DEKRA standard.
  • Ensure safety practices are followed in bay area, securing bay chains, wearing safety glasses, non-slip shoes and other safety items as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs What Makes a Great Candidate:
    • Oil and Lube experience preferred
    • -Certification to perform state specific tests and inspections
