This position is in Roy, UT and supports the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Final grade level offered will be based on candidate experience.What You'll Get To Do:The selected candidate will perform basic to advanced structural analysis and support the development of On Board Test Equipment (OBTE). The OBTE package will be integrated into missile system for flight tests. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.You'll Bring These Qualifications:Sr. Principal Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 9 years of experience; 7 years with Master's Degree; 4 years with PhDPrincipal Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 5 years of experience; 3 years with Master's Degree; 0 years with PhDExperience performing Coupled Loads Analysis and rigid body dynamics analysis for missile and launch vehicle programsExperience supporting test flights and developing day-of-launch loads placardsExperience performing analysis utilizing hand calculations and or software packages such as FEMAP, NASTRAN, or ABAQUSHave broad technical experiences in mechanical engineering and/or aerospace engineering disciplines.Must have US Citizenship and an Active DoD Secret clearance or higher, granted or re-investigated within the last 6 yearsMust have the ability to obtain, and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAP) as a condition of continued employmentThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Proficiency with the following FEA software packages: ABAQUS, LS-DYNA, and ANSYSExposure to structural test applicationsExperience with Missile or Launch Vehicle programs powered flight phase analysis#GBSDmechanicalSalary Range: $90,400 USD - $135,600 USDSalary Range 2: $112,000 USD - $168,000 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
